Digger and truck driver positions available

Welshy Contracting is working alongside Chorus to install fibre around the South Island. We are currently based in Geraldine and looking for an experienced Digger Driver and Truck Driver

Your role will include trenching with the digger ready for the team to install and haul cable and truck driving duties

For this role:

• Class 2 driver license or above
• WTR Endorsement
• Experience in earth moving and excavation or the willingness to learn
• STMS/ TC would be an advantage
• First Aid, SiteSafe etc certificates would also be an advantage
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• Have a clean driver license
• Be drug free and be able to pass a pre-employment test

For this position you must have NZ residency or a valid work visa
