When drilling isn’t an option, our chain trenches can open neat and tidy trenches in the most difficult of locations. Before installing any fibre and power cables, here at Welshy Contracting, we have an experienced and qualified team that can locate any underground services with the use of our GPR machine or locators. We can also use the Hydrovac truck to help locate any underground hazards.

We’re experienced when it comes to power cable & fibre installation
The Welshy Contracting team can drill down any footpath, berm or road crossing, then haul the fibre cable, which is then followed by our jointer. Every operator has the appropriate driver licenses, WTC endorsements and competency to fulfil the job to the highest quality. Our directional drillers have WTC endorsement and a Class 5 license. Which means moving the drill from place to place is no hassle. Health and safety are of course a priority. All our team members have Site Safe and First Aid. Our directional drilling team has a STMS Level 1 qualified worker and TC to cover any site they work on.
